VOLUNTEER

When volunteers are used they will perform the duties of Peer Leader, Assistant Group Leaders, Group Leaders and Site Coordinator depending on their age, education, experience and training. See specific job descriptions of each position for an outline of the duties and qualifications of each position.

All volunteers will be screened by the personnel committee and must complete a staff information form detailing their hours of volunteer services, duties, qualifications, health, and CORI/reference requirements.

All volunteers will be supervised by the Director and must participate in an orientation session at which they will learn the policies and procedures of the Mystic Learning Center as well as DEEC regulations. Volunteers will further be required to participate in staff meetings and training as required by DEEC regulations. They must keep a record of their service by signing the volunteer time sheet.
